A Little About Me

Twenty-five years ago, a client asked me to help them set-up a new charity to support military veteran organisations. Since then, I’ve remained heavily involved in the Not for Profit (NFP) sector while concurrently working in the IT industry for much of my career.

I’ve started two NFPs, been on the Board or Advisory Committee for six, facilitated many strategic planning sessions for others, and most recently was the CEO of a charity.

As for IT, I entered the industry as a project manager for the original NASA SAP implementation in 2001.  My last corporate job in the sector was the Head of Public Sector for an Australian IT company.

Today, I help Not for Profits make strategic decisions about IT and data solutions. It might be for the selection of an individual solution, or a full transformation strategy and roadmap that includes a review of their entire enterprise architecture. And in my spare time, I host the podcast, “Executive with a Cause,” where I chat with for-purpose leaders about the nuts and bolts of running an organisation well.
