What kind of training is essential for my IT team?

IT in Plain English

In today’s episode of “IT in Plain English,” Tammy Ven Dange answers, “What kind of training is essential for my IT team?

For this question, I have just one answer for you: your team likely needs more training in Microsoft.

While most users are already familiar with Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 now provides a huge suite of cybersecurity and IT administration tools that organisations used to have to buy from individual vendors.

The challenging part is that these tools (and IT in general) are constantly changing. In fact, it seems like every time I personally log into the backend of Microsoft Azure, some of the tools have changed locations and perhaps even names. That’s why it’s important to schedule regular training for your IT team.

The good thing is that Microsoft offers over 2000 free courses on their website that range from beginner to advance skills. And if they really want a certificate to prove they learned something, it’s not too expensive to sit the exam.

So, there you have it in plain English.
