Hello!
Here’s your weekly brief of Executive with a Cause, a list of the people, ideas and technology I’m exploring for Not for Profit leaders.
In this Edition: Is it finally time to invest in Microsoft Copilot? Two Aussie Political Parties hacked. Your grandpa could be a gamer. Beware dear Salesforce clients… and More!
What I’m thinking about:
- Is it finally time for your NFP to invest in Microsoft Copilot? Regular readers of my articles will know that I have been advising Not for Profits to wait and see before making a significant investment in Copilot. What about now?
What I’m reading:
- Older adults now make up a third of U.S. gamers – This is an interesting tech trend that I didn’t see coming, but check out the potential benefits!
- Your public ChatGPT queries are getting indexed by Google and other search engines – Imagine seeing your private AI chats in a Google search? This is happening with Grok, too. Beware of the “sharing” button.
- UAP confirms ransomware attack, personal data and email correspondence exposed. Recently, two Australian political parties’ databases were hacked, and their official response was pretty appalling.
- Federal Grant Funds to Improve Education Outcomes Using AI – Interesting to read the US’s official guidance and principles (and grant money) for educators to embrace AI in the classroom.
- Hackers are targeting Salesforce clients through voice phishing attacks – Beware of the latest scam (including the same one that hit Qantas) if your org is using Salesforce.
